Yes, we do. AXN Travel asks for your name, email address, and other personal
information when you sign up for our services, such as inquiries and membership.
We also ask for such information at other times, such as whenever you enter
promotions sponsored by AXN Travel and/or our partners.

Travel use my information for direct mailings?

Yes, but only if you give us permission. We will send you information about
our various products and services, or other products and services we feel
may be of interest to you. Only AXN Travel (or agents working on behalf
of AXN Travel and under confidentiality agreements) will send you these
direct mailings. If you do not want to receive such mailings, simply tell
us when you give us your personal information.
Naturally, the safety of children is very important to us. Kids should
always ask a parent for permission before sending personal information to
AXN Travel, or to anyone online for that matter. AXN Travel does not share
information about users that are under the age of 13 with third parties
and we do not sell or rent information about any of our users, regardless
of age. In addition, AXN Travel will not send any direct email offers to
users who indicate they are under the age of 13, without first obtaining
their parents' permission.

Does AXN
Travel use cookies?

Information we collect:
For each visitor to our site, our web server automatically recognizes your
domain name and IP and/or e-mail address where possible. Once you register
as a member, we recognize your e-mail address as your AXN Travel member
ID. In addition, visitors may voluntarily provide additional information,
(name, date of birth, postal address, areas of interest, travel preferences,
etc.) in order to book a reservation or receive certain member services
such as Alert Me notifications of specific offerings from our suppliers,
or to obtain more information from a supplier listed on AXN Travel. We maintain
site visit history so you can easily refer back to any information that
you have viewed on a previous visit and we can personalize offers to match
your areas of interest.
How we collect information:
Cookies:
Visitors and members of AXN Travel are issued a cookie file that is stored
on your computer's hard drive. Cookies allow us to do several things, such
as;
- Remind
us of who you are and to access your account
information (stored on our computers) in order
to deliver a better and more personalize experience
to you. This cookie is set when you "Sign-in"
and is modified when you "Sign Out" of our services.
- Estimate
our audience size. Each browser accessing AXN
Travel is given a unique cookie which is then
used to determine the extent of repeat usage,
usage by a registered user versus by an unregistered
user and to help target offers based on visitor
or member interests or behavior.
- Track
your progress and number of entries in some
of our promotions, sweepstakes and contests.
When a AXN Travel hosted promotion uses cookies,
the information written to the cookie indicates
the player's progress through the promotion
and may be used to track entries, submissions
and status in prize drawings.

certain traffic patterns, which areas of the
AXN Travel network of sites you have visited
and your visiting patterns in the aggregate.
We use this research to understand how our visitor's
habits are similar or different from one another
so that we can make each new experience on AXN
Travel a better one. We may use this information

We do, in a limited way, track your progress while browsing the site in order

How we
use your information.

AXN Travel uses your personal information to fulfill your requests for
information or services from AXN Travel and our suppliers and service providers
and to personalize offers to areas in which you've shown an interest. We
disclose only what is necessary to fulfill your specific request and do
not sell, rent or lease personal information to any third parties. We use
collective visitor search statistics to assist our suppliers in evaluating
their trip offers based on consumer demand and developing new travel packages
and enhancing content available through AXN Travel.
Co-Branded Sites:
We may operate some sites in our network in cooperation or on behalf of
a content distribution partner. In these cases, we may be required to disclose
some of your information or collect information on behalf of our partner.
We will only disclose the minimal amount of information required by our
partner and will notify you in advance before collecting or sharing any
of your information. Highly sensitive personal information such as credit
card account numbers is never disclosed unless required to fulfill a request
or booking and you have specifically requested that we do so.
Third Party Sites:
AXN Travel may contain links to other third party websites including AXN
Travel member suppliers or service providers.
While we work only with reputable companies, we are not responsible for
privacy practices or content from third party websites and services. We
encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit.
How you may restrict us from collecting or using your information:
If you do not wish to receive promotional offers from AXN Travel or our
suppliers or service providers you can indicate so when you register. You
may also update your member profile at any time to change your notification
status and discontinue any member services. If you prefer, you may send
us an e-mail using your registered e-mail address to feedback@AXN-Himalaya.com
with the subject line "update notification"
What
else should I know about my privacy?

Please keep in mind that whenever you voluntarily disclose personal information
online - for example on message boards, through email, or in chat areas
and forums - that information can be collected and used by others. In short,
if you post personal information online that is accessible to the public,
you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties in return. Furthermore,
while we strive to protect your personal information, AXN Travel cannot
ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and
you do so at your own risk. In addition, AXN Travel partners and third party
Internet sites and services accessible through AXN Travel have separate
privacy and data collection practices, independent of us. AXN Travel has
no responsibility or liability for these independent policies or actions.
The point? You are solely responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your
passwords and/or any account information. Please be careful and responsible
whenever you're online. Never send your credit card # to us !

How we
safeguard your privacy.

We use leading security technology and procedures to ensure personal information
is kept private. If you are authorizing a payment, we connect you with our
secure servers with advanced security and encryption technologies and we
also allow you to provide us with payment information off-line as well.
How you can also protect your privacy:
We recommend that you do not divulge your password to anyone. AXN Travel
will never ask you for your password in an unsolicited phone call or in
an unsolicited e-mail.
If you are using a computer that is shared by other users, e.g. at work,
a library or internet cafe, remember to sign out of your AXN Travel account
and close your browser window when you have finished your work.
Be aware some browsers may ask you if you would like to save a password
setting once you have entered it, for your security we recommend that you
always answer "no" when given this option. When paying for a service through
our payment service, please make sure that your are in secure server mode.
Note, that we never ask for your credit card # in an email.

By using this site, you consent to the collection and use of this information
by AXN Travel as outlined in our Privacy Policy. Any changes to our policy

What if
I make a purchase through a store hosted by AXN Travel or a merchant
listed in the AXN Travel Links or elsewhere?

If you place an order at a store hosted by AXN Travel or a merchant listed
in the AXN Travel Links, we will not gain any information from you. This
information will be used by the merchant. AXN Travel does not own these
businesses and all transactions and use of any customer information are
the sole responsibility of the merchant. For further information regarding
the merchant's use of customer information, contact that store or merchant
directly. Sponsors are responsible for maintaining their own data collection,
email and opt-out policies. AXN Travel is not responsible for their use
of your information.
