Mustang
is in the western zone of
Nepal and almost all of
its northern half projects
into Tibet, while the southern
half is bordered by the
three districts Dolpo, Myagdi
and Manang.

Itinerary |
Fly
in to Kagbeni early in the
morning.
Day 01 : Eklobhatti (3650
m) - The trek goes through
Tangbe, Chusang, Chele and
Samsar before reaching Eklobhatti.
Day 02 : Tsarang (3500 m)
- Trail proceeds and passes
Giling and Ghami on the way
to Tsarang. The area is mainly
populated by Manngis, an ethnic
group whose language, culture
and traditions are almost
prely of Tibetan origin.
Day 03 : Lo Manthang (3700
m) - About 5 h trek take you
to Lo Manthang. The countryside
in and around Lo Manthng has
strikes similar to the Tibetan
plateau with its rolling hills
eroded by the incelement winds.
Houses and temples are made
from stone and sun-bakd mud
bricks. You cannote fail to
notice the city wall and four-storied
palace of Lo Manthang. The
religion followed is Tibetan
Buddhism.
Day 04 : Fly out to Kathmandu
in the morning. |
