The subtropical zones of the Annapurna region are
clothed in schema and chestnut forests while the temperate
zone features evergreen oaks and hemlock. 30 different
species of rhododendron can be seen in spring, lending
a splash of white, pink, yellow and mauve to red.

Itinerary |
Day
01 : Kuldi Ghar (3440 m) -
The trek descends from Ghandruk
and offers good views of the
upper Modi Knola valley. The
trail passes through the valleys
of Chomrong (1918 m) that
lies at the base of Hiunchuli
(6441 m). Trek time is 7 h.
Day 02 : Annapurna South Base
Camp (4237 m) - The trek climbs
to Hinku cave. Then heads
north-west to the camp. The
Annapurna BC is situated between
Annapurna I (8091 m) and Hiunchuli
(6441 m). It is surrounded
by Annapurna III (7525 m),
Annapurna I, Annapurna South
(7219 m) and Macchapuchare
(6993 m). Enjoy the view of
these majestic mountains.
Day 03 : Return back to Kuli
Ghar.
Day 04 : Fly out to Kathmandu
in the morning. |
