| DAY 01 DELHI - SRINAGAR
Arrive at the Capital of Heaven, Srinagar. Board your
vehicle to your Super Deluxe House Boat. We intend
to give you the full experience of Kashmir and what
could be better than that of an unforgettable stay
in a House Boat.
House Boats have the following configuration:
- An entrance veranda
- Drawing / living room
- Dining room
- 3 /4 bed rooms with attached bath.
You will certainly feel like a Maharaja in this little
palace where you will be residing for one night with
just 3 / 4 families. Each family will get a separate
bedroom and yes, of course each bedroom is having
an attached bathroom equipped with all facilities.
The living/drawing room has TV, telephone, and comfortable
sofas for your comforts. Today's day we have kept
purposefully free for you. So you can admire the beautiful
Dal Lake and your lovely House Boat.
You will find the flower sellers, fruit vendors, handicrafts
sellers making sales calls at your houseboats. You
will like this floating market. Today enjoy the delicious
dinner in the House Boat, specially prepared for you.
DAY 2: SRINAGAR
Good Morning
After Breakfast we proceed on a Garden Tour, which
includes the famous and beautiful Mughal Gardens,
such as Nishat Bagh also known as "Garden of
pleasure". This "Garden of Bliss" with
ten terraces has many carefully laid out flower beds
and magnificent view of the lake and snow capped Pir
Panjal Mountain range which stands far away to the
west of the valley. Shalimar Bagh - Garden of Love
built in 1616 A.D. for Queen Noor Jehan, Cheshma Shahi
Bagh and perched on top of the hill is the Shankaracharya
Temple. Return to your Houseboat and enjoy delicious
lunch & dinner in style at the Houseboat.
DAY 03 SRINAGAR - SONMARG - SRINAGAR
Treat yourself with American breakfast with great
variety in style in your House boat. Then we proceed
on an Excursion tour to SONMARG, also known as "Meadow
of Gold" (approx. 85km / 3 hrs drive). You can
ride on the Horse to visit the Thajiwas Glacier where
snow remains round the year. It is also known as Gateway
of Ladakh. Today enjoy the delicious packed lunch
specially prepared for you . Later return back to
the Houseboat. Evening enjoy delicious dinner.
DAY 04 SRINAGAR - PAHALGAM-SRINAGAR
After a leisurely breakfast visit beautiful Pahalgam,
Valley of Shepherds. Pahalgam is only 95 km from Srinagar
and it will take maximum 2 1/2 hours. Enroute we will
also visit the famous Hindu Temple - Martand also
known as Mattan & also visit saffron fields. Drive
through pine forest. Lunch will be carried from House
Boat. Free for shopping & Individual /leisure
activities and enjoy the nature and river. Return
late evening to Srinagar. Overnight at Deluxe House
Boat at Srinagar.
DAY 05 SRINAGAR - GULMARG - SRINAGAR
Enjoy American breakfast in your Houseboat. Today
we drive to Gulmarg (approx. 55 kms / 1 1⁄2
hrs drive) also known as 'Meadow of Flowers'. Here
you can enjoy Gondola Ride (Optional) . It doesn't
end here, Gulmarg boasts of the world's highest green
golf course in the world. Enjoy the delicious packed
lunch specially prepared for you . Later return back
to the Houseboat. Evening enjoy delicious dinner.
DAY 06 SRINAGAR - DELHI
Enjoy American breakfast at the Houseboat. Now it's
time to say good-bye to your beautiful House Boat
with Beautiful memories as we will leave for the airport
to board your flight back to Delhi.
