Sri Lanka is probably
relatively unknown in the field of Golf but is home
to three of Asia’s finest 18 hole golf courses.
The three courses are situated in Colombo, Kandy and
Nuwara Eliya. Given their different elevations some
golfers comment that it’s like playing in three
different countries.
This tour is primarily designed for playing golf but
allows the player to soak up some of the countries
attractions.
Royal Colombo Golf Club
This 5770 m (par 71) golf course is one of the oldest
in Asia. The course offers challenges through its
many water hazards and bunkers which can test even
the seasoned players. The sixth hole is supposed to
be a treat where golfers encounter the Kelani Valley
train. Victoria International Golf and Country Resort
The Victoria Golf Club as it is popularly known is
situated in Digana a stones throw away from Kandy
a city rich in culture and history. This 6877m (par
73) course is the newest in Sri Lanka and designed
by the famous Donald Steel and Company.
It is situated right beside the Victoria Reservoir
and is probably the most picturesque course in Sri
Lanka. Temperatures in the mid 20's offer the best
playing conditions. Nuwara Eliya Golf Club
At the base of Mount Pidurutalagala in the heart of
tea country. At 1890m above sea level, it features
fir lined fairways, bunkers and scenic surroundings.
The 9th is an island green surrounded by bunkers.
Water (rivers) comes into play on 6 holes.
The Nuwara Eliya Golf Club course is 5'520 m (par
71). The fairways are long and narrow and bordered
by fir trees and thick bushes. The course demands
great deal of respect from its players since the uphill
down hill nature of the course requires skillful placement.
Itinerary
Day 01: Colombo
Pick up at airport and transfer to Colombo. Depending
on the time of arrival guests will be afforded the
option for some local sightseeing.
During the evening complimentary dinner hosted by
us, we will walk you thorough the rest of the holiday
and answer all your queries. Overnight in Colombo.

02: Royal Colombo Golf Club
Depart for the Royal Colombo Golf Club after breakfast.
Spend rest of day playing golf.
Overnight in Colombo.
Day 03: Kandy
Depart to Kandy after breakfast, en route visit the
Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage and watch of 60 elephants
being bathed and fed. Proceed on to Kandy, In the
evening witness a colorful pageant featuring dancers,
drummers and fire walking.
Overnight in Kandy.
Day 04: Victoria Golf Club
Arrive at the Victoria Golf Club after breakfast.
Spend rest of day playing golf.
Overnight in Kandy.
Day 05: Nuwara Eliya
Proceed to Nuwara Eliya - en route we visit a tea
factory and see how tea is made. Overnight in Nuwara
Eliya.
Day 06: Nuwara Eliya Golf Club
Entire day playing golf at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club.
Dinner at the Hill Club.Day 07: Colombo
Proceed to Colombo - shopping in Colombo and transfer
to airport for fight back home.
